Nkomiso

Description The painted houses at VOPAC (Village Of Pottery Art and Culture), a village 8km west of Bolgatnaga. The houses are painted by the old women of the town, during the dry season, when there is little fieldwork to be done. The Vopac guest house is in one of these painted houses, and the revenue generated by tourists renting the guest house is invested back into the local community.
